Before starting class, we had some time to introduce a new comer "Kiriko Hasegawa" to each other. She is a friend of Namiki. They belong to the same tennis club.

Kiriko-san recommended Nicchu line in Kitakata city.
Cherry blossoms line the road for 3km, which used to be the Nichu line.
Kirikoは、喜多方市の日中線(跡地)をおすすめしました。
日中線として使われた、枝垂れ桜の並木が3kmにわたって続いています。
Tecchan recommended Heiankaku(平安閣) (wedding garden)
You can see many weeping cherry trees around there(Heiankaku).
* weeping cherry tree = 枝垂れ桜(しだれざくら)
てっちゃんは、平安閣の周りをおすすめしました。
平安閣の周囲にたくさんの枝垂れ桜を見ることができます。
Shizu recommended [ Yugawa river] in between "Oda Bridge(Oda-bashi= 小田橋)" and "Tenjin Bridge(Tenjin-bashi= 天神橋)", where cherry blossoms line both sides of the road.
しづちゃんは、湯川沿い、小田橋と天神橋の間をおすすめしました。
Namiki's recommendation is...
You can see “Takato Cherry Trees(Takatoh-Sakura= 高遠桜)”beside of the Fukushima Public Museum in Aizu(福島県立博物館). The flower is a dark pink color.
なみきのおすすめは...県立博物館の横にある高遠桜です。花が濃いピンクです。
Nobu's recommendation is...
You can see many cherry trees towards the south exit of Tsurugajo Castle(=Aizuwakamatsu Castle).

ノブチャンのおすすめは...
鶴ヶ城公園の南口の方のたくさんの桜です。
Mocchan recommended “Ishibe Sakura(石部桜)”. (where is behind MaCCi's house).
She had been in charge of Sakura blooming information(桜の開花情報) for the web-site
of Aizuwakamatsu city hall. Therefore she went to the place Ishibe Sakura had been blooming to take some photographs of cherry blossom day by day. (It was her memory of many years ago.)
Mocchan は、石部桜をおすすめしました。(MaCCiさんの家の裏の方ですって)
彼女は会津若松市役所のウェブサイトで桜の開花情報を担当したことがあります。したがって毎日毎日桜の写真を撮りに行きました。ずいぶん前のことですけど。
It was popular because it was used as the background of the title of "Yaeno sakura" TV drama.
それは、テレビドラマ「八重の桜」のタイトルバックとして使われたので有名です。
Sam recommended "Kan-non-ji river(観音寺川)" near "Kawageta station(川桁駅)" in "Inawashiro town(猪苗代町)".
It is located north of Kawageta station about 1km on both sides of "Kan-non-ji river(観音寺川)".
1km of cherry trees including weeping cherry trees stand on both side of Kan-non-ji-gawa river.
サムは猪苗代町の川桁駅近くの、観音寺川をおすすめしています。それは、観音寺川の両側に1kmつづく、枝垂れ桜(しだれざくら)を含む桜の並木です。
Namiki recommended,
If you look down Aizu University(会津大学) from “Ikki-Machi Matsunaga(一箕町松長)
area”, you can see Aizu University area surrounded by a lot of cherry trees.
なみきは、一箕町松長の高台から会津大学を見下ろすと、大学の周りのたくさんの桜見えるのがおすすめだと言っています。
MaCCi recommended "Tsurugajo Kaikan(鶴ヶ城会館)".
マチさんは、鶴ヶ城会館をおすすめしています。
A lot of cherry petals falling down onto the moat is very beautiful.
桜の花びらが舞い散ったお堀はとても美しいです。
